Music Education That Inspires Creativity, Collaboration, and Confidence

Let's Play brings hands-on music experiences to K–12 schools across New York City. Through workshops, assemblies, and residencies, students explore creativity, build confidence, and find new ways to express themselves — no prior experience needed. As an approved NYC DOE vendor, we make it easy for schools to say yes.

Our Mission

We create a space where students feel free to express themselves, tap into who they are, and build confidence — with the structure and foundation to carry it forward. Every student can create, and every student belongs in the arts.

Our Approach

We pair professional artistry with real classroom practice. Sessions are inclusive and age-appropriate, and students are encouraged to take creative risks, collaborate, and make something that's genuinely theirs.

Founder

Let's Play was founded by Carlos Cabrera, who brings years of experience in music performance, production, and arts education. Carlos has performed at venues across New York City and worked with students in a wide range of settings — with one focus throughout: making music education accessible and relevant for today's learners.
